This 4-hour workshop introduces the basics of child care through practical activities. Learners will explore key skills such as communicating effectively with children and adults, supporting children's needs, and understanding safety and wellbeing in a childcare setting. A guest speaker from the sector may attend and share real workplace experiences. The workshop is ideal for anyone interested in working with children, volunteering, or preparing for further study in childcare. You can progress onto an accredited Child Care qualification at level 1 with another provider.
